Mayfair House Coalition's request for dedesignation referred to Designation Committee. Vance's motion to support L&I's demolition efforts was withdrawn pending legal opinion. PHPC holds a facade easement on the property. L&I declared the building imminently dangerous and announced intent to demolish by end of August 1994. Owner (Arnav Industries) claimed contractor Veluci would begin sealing upper floors the week of 15 August 1994.
