..Title Amending Chapter 9-601 of The Philadelphia Code entitled "Garages, Parking Lots, Sales Lots and Sales Showrooms" by adding a definition for automated parking garages and restricting the operation and maintenance of said automated parking garage to within three hundred (300) feet of any residentially zone property, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 9-601 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: §9-601. Garages, Parking Lots, Sales Lots and Sales Showrooms. (1) General Provisions. * * * (.10) Automated Parking Garage. Any building or other structure in which more than three motor vehicles may be parked, stored, housed or kept, in which motor vehicles are moved and or stored by means of a mechanical lifting device or any other automated means of parking and/or retrieving motor vehicles. * * * (b) No person shall conduct, operate, or maintain the following unless he or she has obtained a license from the Department of Licenses and Inspections. * * * (.8) Automated Parking Garage. * * * (11) Employer-provided parking facilities. * * * (12) Automated Parking Garage. No license shall be issued to conduct, operate or maintain any automated parking garage. (a) that is within three hundred (300) feet of any property that is residentially zoned at the time of application. (b) that is not in compliance with all applicable regulations and provisions that govern public garages in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter. (.1) The Department of Licenses and Inspections shall enforce the provisions of this Section. SECTION 2.
