..Title Authorizing the paving of Marvine street, Ogden street and Ogden place, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Procurement Commissioner, pursuant to the provision of Sections 11-502 and 11-503 of The Philadelphia Code, is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the paving of Marvine street approximately one hundred seventy-five (175) feet east of Twelfth street, extending from Brown street to Parrish street; Ogden street approximately one hundred seventy-four (174) feet south of Poplar street, extending from Tenth street to Eleventh street and Ogden place approximately one hundred seventy-four (174) feet south of Poplar street, extending from Tenth street to a dead end turnaround approximately two hundred eight (208) feet eastwardly therefrom. SECTION 2. In lieu of the provisions of Section 1, the party in interest shall file an agreement and bond with corporate surety, satisfactory to the Law Department and in an amount determined by the Streets Department, to cover the cost of the work required to completely pave Marvine street, Ogden street and Ogden place described in Section 1 of this Ordinance at his sole cost and expense in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the City of Philadelphia. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) toward the cost thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within sixty (60) days after this Ordinance becomes law. ..End
