..Title Amending Section 9-204 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Vendors in Center City," by prohibiting sidewalk vending on portions of Benjamin Franklin Parkway. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 9-204 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: TITLE 9. REGULATION OF BUSINESSES, TRADES AND PROFESSIONS. * * * CHAPTER 9-200. COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES ON STREETS. * * * §9-204. Sidewalk Vendors in Center City. * * * (8) Vending Locations. (a) Council shall by ordinance designate the blockfaces upon which vending shall be permitted and the maximum number of sidewalk vendor licenses that may be issued for each such blockface, subject to a total maximum of three hundred (300) sidewalk vendor locations in all of Center City.
