..Title Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to purchase fee simple title to a certain parcel of land with the buildings and improvements thereon, situated on the Northwest side of Algon Avenue at Fox Chase Road, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to purchase from Jane W. Hoff, Henry R. Waddington, and Robert Waddington, in consideration for $335,000, fee simple title to a certain parcel of land with the buildings and improvements thereon situated on the Northwest side of Algon Avenue at Fox Chase Road, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. SECTION 2. The parcel described in Exhibit A shall, upon acquisition by the City, be incorporated into Pennypack Park under the jurisdiction of the Fairmount Park Commission. SECTION 3. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and to approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance. EXHIBIT "A" All that certain lot or piece of ground, Situate in the 56th Ward of the City of Philadelphia, and described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Northwesterly side of Algon Avenue (80' wide) (On City Plan - Legally open), at the distance of 541.010, Northeastwardly from the Northeasterly side of Dorcas Street (50' wide) (On City Plan - Legally open); Thence extending N 50° 05' 04" W, the distance of 112.000' to a point; Thence extending S 39° 54' 56" W, the distance of 56.000' to a point; Thence extending N 50° 05' 04" W, the distance of 188.000' to a point; Thence extending S 39° 54' 56" W, the distance of 50.000' to a point; Thence extending S 50° 05' 04" E, the distance of 170.000' to a point; Thence extending S 39° 54' 56" W, the distance of 135.000' to a point; Thence extending S 50° 05' 04" W, the distance of 263.066' to a point; Thence extending Southwestwardly, on the arc of a circle curving to the left, having a radius of 5615.475', a chord bearing of S 47° 16' 26" W, a chord distance of 181.495', the arc distance 181.503' to a point; Thence extending N 50° 05' 04" W, the distance of 127.422' to a point; Thence extending N 37° 40' 53" E, the distance of 1109.847' to a point; Thence extending S 43° 03' 18" E, partly along the Southwesterly side of the Pennypack Park Boundary Line, the distance of 479.604' to a point; Thence extending S 39° 54' 56" W, the distance of 127.310' to a point; Thence extending N 50° 05' 04" W, the distance of 12.000' to a point; Thence extending S 39° 54' 56" W, the distance of 375.000' to a point; Thence extending S 50° 05' 04" E, the distance of 123.000' to a point on the Northwesterly side of the said Algon Avenue; Thence extending S 39° 54' 56" W, along the Northwesterly side of the said Algon Avenue, the distance of 127.000' to the first mentioned point and place of beginning.
