..Title Amending the Ordinance approved January 3, 1992 (Bill No. 1205-AA), which, pursuant to subsection 9-204(8)(a) of The Philadelphia Code, designates the locations in Center City at which vending is permitted, by providing that all permitted vendor locations on both sides of Twelfth Street between Arch Street and Chestnut Street shall be assigned only to vendors licensed to sell prepared food, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 1 of the Ordinance approved January 3, 1992 (Bill No. 1205-AA) is hereby further amended to read as follows: Section 1. Pursuant to subsection 9-204(8)(a) of The Philadelphia Code, City Council hereby adopts the following vendor locations as those from which vending shall be permitted: Street From: To: Side Number of Locations * * * 12th Market Chestnut East 3, provided that such locations shall be assigned only to vendors licensed to sell prepared food * * * 12th Market Clover West 3, provided that such locations shall be assigned only to vendors licensed to sell prepared food 12th Clover Point 100'S of Clover West 1, provided that such location shall be assigned only to a vendor licensed to sell prepared food * * * SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective immediately. If any vending location listed in Section 1 is currently assigned to a vendor who is licensed to sell a category of goods other than prepared food, the Department of Licenses and Inspections ("Department") shall provide written notice to such vendor that the vendor must cease operations at that location within ten days after such notice is issued. The Department shall reassign such location to a vendor who is licensed to sell prepared food in accordance with the provisions of Section 9-204(8)(d) of The Philadelphia Code. _____________________________________ Explanation: [Brackets] indicate matter deleted.
