..Title Amending Section 9-205 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Sales," by prohibiting vending on portions of Chestnut and Market Streets between 55th and 57th Streets, portions of 56th and 57th Streets in the area of Chestnut and Market Streets, and Ludlow Street between 57th and 58th Streets. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 9-205 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: TITLE 9. REGULATION OF BUSINESSES, TRADES AND PROFESSIONS. * * * CHAPTER 9-200. COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES ON STREETS. * * * §9-205. Sidewalk Sales. * * * (8) Prohibited Conduct. No vendor or person shall: * * * (p) exhibit, display, offer for sale or sell any goods, wares, or merchandise or place or allow any stand to remain on the sidewalks of the following streets or any other location which the Council shall from time to time ordain: * * * ( ) Chestnut Street between Fifty-fifth and Fifty-eighth Streets; ( ) Market Street between Fifty-fifth and Fifty-eighth Streets; ( ) Fifty-sixth Street, between Walnut and Arch Streets; ( ) Fifty-seventh Streets, between Walnut and Arch Streets; ( ) Ludlow Street, between Fifty-seventh and Fifty-eighth Streets. * * * ______________________ Explanation: [Brackets] indicate matter deleted.
