..Title Amending Title 9 The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Regulation of Businesses, Trades and Professions," by adding a section to prohibit the sale of certain motor vehicles; all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: Section 1. Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: TITLE 9. REGULATION OF BUSINESSES, TRADES AND PROFESSIONS * * * CHAPTER 9-600. SERVICE BUSINESSES * * * §9-626. Sale of Motor Vehicle That Cannot Be Registered In Pennsylvania. (1) No person shall sell or otherwise transfer any motorcycle or motor-driven cycle, as those terms are defined by the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code, that is under 125 pounds, if such motorcycle or motor-driven cycle could not be lawfully registered or could not pass a safety inspection pursuant to the Vehicle Code at the time of sale. _________________________________ Explanation: [Brackets] indicate matter deleted.
