..Title Amending Section 9-204 of The Philadelphia Code by prohibiting vending on both sides of 8th Street, from Chestnut Street to Walnut Street and by permitting vending on both sides of 8th Street, from Market Street to Chestnut Street. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 9-204 of The Philadelphia Code, relating to Sidewalk Vendors in Center City is amended to read as follows: §9-204. Sidewalk Vendors in Center City. * * * (8) Vending Locations. (a) The following vendor locations are hereby designated as locations from which vending shall be permitted, provided Council shall not ever designate more than 300 such locations in all of Center City: * * * 8TH MARKET LUDLOW EAST 1 8TH LUDLOW RANSTEAD EAST 1 8TH RANSTEAD CHESTNUT EAST 1 [8TH CHESTNUT IONIC EAST 1 8TH IONIC SANSOM EAST 1 8TH SANSOM WALNUT EAST 2] * * * 8TH MARKET RANSTEAD WEST 2 8TH RANSTEAD CHESTNUT WEST 1 [8TH CHESTNUT SANSOM WEST 1 8TH SANSOM WALNUT WEST 1] * * * (b) No blockface at the following locations shall be designated as a location at which vending shall be permitted: * * * (.10) 8th street, from Chestnut street to Walnut street.
