..Title Amending Title 20 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Officers and Employees," by creating a new Chapter 20-1100, entitled "Employee Benefits," to provide for certain benefits for City employees on military leave of absence, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title 20 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows: TITLE 20. OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES * * * CHAPTER 20-1100. EMPLOYEE BENEFITS § 20-1101. Military Leave. (1) Any City employee who, because of an order of any branch of the United States military reserves, the Civilian Public Health Service Reserve Corps or the National Guard, in which he or she is a member, to participate in training or perform active service, requests a leave of absence from City service, shall be granted a leave of absence without loss of pay or health benefits, for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days of such training or active service in any calendar year. _____________________________________ Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added.
