..Title Authorizing the paving of Meyer Place and Ruth Way, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Procurement Commissioner, pursuant to Section 11-502 and 11-503 of The Philadelphia Code, is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the paving of Meyer Place from Ashton Road to Ruth Way, and Ruth Way from Ashton Road to Meyer Place. SECTION 2. In lieu of the provisions of Section 1, the party in interest shall file an agreement and bond with corporate surety, satisfactory to the Law Department and in an amount determined by the Streets Department, to cover the cost of the work required to completely pave Meyer Place and Ruth Way at its sole cost and expense in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the City of Philadelphia. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), toward the cost thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within one hundred and twenty (120) days after this Ordinance becomes law. ..End
