..Title Amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Regulation of Businesses, Trades and Professions," to allow for the liability of property owners who permit the erection or maintenance of outdoor advertising signs on their property that are not properly licensed; all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: Section 1. Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended as follows: TITLE 9. REGULATION OF BUSINESSES, TRADES AND PROFESSIONS * * * CHAPTER 9-600. SERVICE BUSINESSES * * * §9-602. Outdoor Advertising. * * * (3) No person, including the owner of the property where the sign or sign structure is located, shall erect [or], maintain, or permit to be erected or maintained, any outdoor advertising sign unless [they have obtained] the owner of the property or the person who erects or maintains such sign, if such person is different than the owner, obtains a [appropriate licenses] license for such sign from the Department of Licenses and Inspections. * * * _____________________________________ Explanation: [Brackets] indicate matter deleted.
