..Title Amending Subcode PM (The Philadelphia Property Maintenance Code) of The Philadelphia Code, by amending Section PM-306.0 entitled "Vacant Premises," by requiring owners to maintain property insurance on vacant premises, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section PM-306.0 of Subcode "PM" (The Philadelphia Property Maintenance Code) of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended as follows: SUBCODE "PM" (THE PHILADELPHIA PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE) * * * SECTION PM-306.0 VACANT PREMISES * * * PM-306.7 Insurance: The owner of any vacant premises shall maintain property insurance to cover any damage caused by negligence on the vacant premises, including but not limited to injuries or damages that occur on adjacent properties. Subsections PM-306.3, PM-306.4 and PM-306.5 regarding notice, compliance and penalties shall not apply to violations of this subsection. Any owner who violates this subsection shall be subject to a fine as set forth in subsection A-601.1 of the Administrative Code.
