..Title Amending Subcode "A" (Administrative Code) of Title 4 (Building Construction and Occupancy Code) of The Philadelphia Code, by amending Section A-302, entitled "Permits," by requiring the posting of certificates of insurance along with posted construction permits, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Subcode "A" of Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended as follows: SUBCODE "A" (THE PHILADELPHIA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE) * * * SECTION A-302 PERMITS * * * A-302.8 Posting of permits and licenses: Permits and licenses shall be kept on the premises designated therein at all times and shall be readily available for inspection by the code official. A true copy of permits authorizing construction activity shall be posted on the site of the operations, open to public inspection during the entire time of the prosecution of the work for which the permit has been issued. Exception: Housing inspection license, where there is no on-premises management office. A-302.8.1 The holder of any permit authorizing construction activity shall post a true copy of the developer or contractor's certificate of insurance along with the permit authorizing construction activity and shall ensure that the certificate remains on the site of the operations, open to public inspection during the entire time that the construction permit is to be posted. * * * _____________________________________ Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added. ..End
