..Title Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of The City of Philadelphia, to grant the owner of 3201 S. 74th Street an easement across a portion of a certain parcel of land adjacent to 70th Street. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the owner of 3201 S. 74th Street, granting them an easement across the following described tract of land: ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with buildings and improvements erected thereon, situate in the 40th Ward of the City of Philadelphia, and described in accordance with an Easement Plan made by Barton & Martin Engineers, a Division of Vollmer Associates LLP, dated January 18, 2006 (project #200663002), as follows: BEGINNING AT A POINT on the southwesterly side of 70th Street (88 feet wide), said point being measured N 22º44'54" W, along the said southwesterly side of 70th Street, the distance of 1062.750 feet from the point of tangency of a curve having a radius of 100.000 feet and arc length of 157.080 feet which connects the said southwesterly side of 70th Street with northwesterly side of Holstein Avenue (100 feet wide); thence extending S 67º15'06" W, the distance of 10.000 feet to a point; thence extending N 22º44'54" W, the distance of 86.000 to a point; thence extending N 67º16'57.09" W, the distance of 27.092 feet to a point; thence extending N 67º15'06" E, the distance of 29.000 feet to a point; thence extending S 22º44'54" E, the distance of 105.310 feet to a point on the said northwesterly side of 70th Street, said point being the FIRST MENTIONED POINT AND PLACE OF BEGINNING. CONTAINING IN AREA 1236.59 Square Feet or 0.0284 Acres. SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is herby authorized to review and to approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interest of the City of Philadelphia and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance. ..End
