..Title Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to acquire by condemnation or by purchase in lieu of condemnation certain easements for the purpose of a public right-of-way for a new bridge crossing the Schuylkill River through South street. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to acquire by condemnation or by purchase in lieu of condemnation a certain easement for the purpose of a public right-of-way for a new bridge crossing the Schuylkill river through South street. The said easement is more fully described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. SECTION 2. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to acquire by condemnation or by purchase in lieu of condemnation a certain underground easement for sewer and drainage purposes for the aforesaid new bridge. The said easement is more fully described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. SECTION 3. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to acquire by condemnation or by purchase in lieu of condemnation certain temporary easements for construction purposes to facilitate the construction of the aforesaid new bridge. The said easements are more fully described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. SECTION 4. Exhibit "A" to this ordinance shall be kept on file by the Chief Clerk and shall be available for public inspection. EXHIBIT A ..End
