..Title Amending Title 13 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Water and Sewer," by adding a new Chapter regarding termination of water and sewer service and prohibiting the Water Department from terminating such service on weekends and holidays for non-payment of bills, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title 13 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: TITLE 13. WATER AND SEWER. * * * CHAPTER 13-900. TERMINATION OF WATER AND SEWER SERVICE. § 13-901. Termination Restrictions. The Water Department shall not itself, nor by contract, terminate the water and sewer service of any customer, on a weekend or legal holiday, for non-payment of any bill. This Section is not intended to apply where the termination of such service is necessary in emergency situations. SECTION 2.
