..Title Confirming the appointment of Shelley R. Smith, Esq., as City Solicitor. ..Body WHEREAS, Mayor Michael A. Nutter has appointed Shelley R. Smith, Esq., as City Solicitor; and WHEREAS, Section 3-203 of the Home Rule Charter requires the advice and consent of a majority of all members of the Council for the appointment of City Solicitor; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Council hereby consents to and confirms the appointment of Shelley R. Smith, Esq., as City Solicitor. ..End
