..Title Amending Section 19-1801 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Authorization of Tax," to further authorize the Board of Education of the School District of Philadelphia to impose a tax on real estate within the City of Philadelphia; all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 19-1801 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: § 19-1801. Authorization of Tax. (1) The Board of Education of The School District of Philadelphia is authorized to impose an annual tax for school district purposes on real estate within the City of Philadelphia for the years 1964 through [2008] 2009 and thereafter. * * * ___________________________________ Explanation: [Brackets] indicate matter deleted.
