..Title Honoring and recognizing Raymond O'Donnell Jr.'s achievement on receiving the Eagle Scout of Honor. ..Body WHEREAS, It is important to highlight the achievements and accomplishments of our youth who have demonstrated character, courage and determination in achieving long term objectives; and WHEREAS, Raymond O'Donnell Jr. an accomplished member of the Roxborough Baptist Church Chartered Troop # 114 has received the highest rank of the Boy Scouts of America; and WHEREAS, Raymond O'Donnell Jr. clearly embodies the spirit, ethics, character and morality of the Boy Scouts of America on the highest level; and WHEREAS, Raymond O'Donnell Jr. earned twenty-nine merit badges and completed a project that not only assured his ascension to the highest ranks of the Boy Scouts of America but provided a greater service to the community of Philadelphia by cleaning and revitalizing both the Juniata Park and Ferko Playground so to enhance the beauty and recreational experience for those utilizing the city of Philadelphia's greatest resource; now therefore RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, Hereby honors and recognizes Raymond O'Donnell Jr.'s achievement on receiving the Eagle Scout of Honor. FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to Raymond O Donnell Jr. as evidence of the sincere acknowledgement and recognition of this legislative body. ..End
