..Title Amending Chapter 12-2700 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Permit Parking Districts," by restoring the permit parking and renewal fees, within certain permit parking districts to their pre-2007 levels. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: Section 1. Chapter 12-2700 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: CHAPTER 12-2700. PERMIT PARKING DISTRICTS. * * * § 12-2705. Issuance of Resident Parking Permits. * * * (a) Subject to the provisions of subsections (b), (c), (d), and (e) of this Section, the Department of Licenses and Inspections shall issue to an applicant who has submitted a permit fee of thirty-five ($35.00) dollars and completed permit application one (1) resident parking permit for the vehicle described in the application[, except that in Permit Parking District 8, the permit fee for each permit, in excess of one (1) for any one (1) household, shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00)]. * * * § 12-2706. Renewal of Resident Parking Permits. (a) Upon submission by the holder of a resident parking permit of a renewal fee of twenty (20) dollars and a completed renewal application on or before the expiration date of the holder's resident parking permit, the Department of Licenses and Inspections shall issue a new resident parking permit to the applicant[, except that in Permit Parking District 8, the renewal fee for each permit, in excess of one (1) for any one (1) household, shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00)]. * * * Section 2.
