..Title Amending Resolution No. 080001, which provides Rules for the Government of the Council of the City of Philadelphia, by adding procedures for Council's consideration of bills that authorize the City to acquire, convey or lease to a third party any interest in real estate that includes park or recreation land or facilities. ..Body RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, THAT Paragraph X of Resolution No. 080001, which provides Rules for the Government of the Council of the City of Philadelphia, be amended as follows: Note: Bold underlining indicates matter added by this amendment. X. Committee of the Whole * * * 3. Any bill authorizing the City to acquire, convey or lease to a third party any interest in real estate that includes park or recreation land or facilities shall be referred to the Committee of the Whole for consideration, and upon introduction of any such bill, the Chief Clerk shall forthwith transmit a copy to the Commission on Parks and Recreation. No such bill shall be reported from the Committee of the Whole unless two-thirds of all the members of the Council vote in favor of reporting the bill to Council. FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT this Resolution shall take effect if and when the voters approve the amendment to the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter proposed in Resolution No. 080181 (adopted June 19, 2008). ..End
