..Title Amending Section 9-208 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Cafes," by providing that sidewalk cafes on Ninth Street, between Christian Street and Federal Street, may occupy spaces in which curb market carts may be located, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 9-208 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: §9-208. Sidewalk Cafes. * * * (11) Special Provisions Within the Italian Market. (a) A sidewalk cafe on Ninth Street, between Christian Street and Federal Street, may be located entirely or partially within an available space in which a curb market cart may be located under §9-201. Subsection 9-208(6)(h), which requires a sidewalk cafe to be at the same elevation as the sidewalk, shall not apply to such sidewalk cafes, but all other provisions of this Section shall apply. ___________________________________ Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added. ..End 3
