..Title Amending Section 2 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 051234) approved February 16, 2006, entitled "An Ordinance authorizing and directing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 266 by striking from the City Plan and vacating Jefferson Street and Heston Street, each from 52nd Street to Paxon Street; by striking from the City Plan and vacating Paxon Street from Jefferson Street to Columbia Avenue; and by reserving and placing on the City Plan rights-of-way for gas main purposes, water main purposes, and drainage purposes within the beds of the streets being stricken by this Ordinance, if necessary, all under certain terms and conditions," by extending the period for compliance with the terms and conditions stated therein. ..Body WHEREAS, An Ordinance (Bill No. 051234), approved February 16, 2006, was conditional upon certain requirements being complied with within two (2) years from the date of approval; WHEREAS, An Ordinance (Bill No. 080430), approved July 2, 2008, amended Section 2 of Bill No. 051234 by extending the period for compliance with the requirements stated therein to February 16, 2010; and WHEREAS, It is desirable to further extend the timeframe in which such conditions may be met; now, therefore THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 2 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 051234) approved February 16, 2006, as amended by an Ordinance (Bill No. 080430) approved July 2, 2008, is hereby further amended to read as follows: SECTION 2. This authorization is conditional upon compliance with the following requirements [by February 16, 2010] by February 16, 2012: * * * SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two-hundred dollars ($200.00), toward costs thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within one-hundred twenty (120) days after this Ordinance becomes law. ..End
