..Title Amending Chapter 4-200.0, Subcode "A" (The Philadelphia Administrative Code) of Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Text of Subcodes," by amending Section A-906, entitled "Property Maintenance Code Fees," to provide for escalating licensing fees for owners of vacant lots, vacant buildings or vacant wharfs, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Chapter 4-200.0 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: CHAPTER 4-200.0 TEXT OF SUBCODES SUBCODE "A" (THE PHILADELPHIA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE) * * * Section A-906 Property Maintenance Code Fees * * * A-906.3 Vacant property license: The annual license fee to own a vacant lot, vacant building or vacant wharf, pier or dock shall be as follows: [$300.00 per vacant lot and $300.00 per vacant structure.] (i.) No fee for properties that are vacant for less than one year; (ii.) $500.00 for properties that are vacant for at least one year but less than two years; (iii.) $1,000.00 for properties that are vacant for at least two years but less than three years; (iv.) $2,000.00 for properties that are vacant for at least three years but less than five years; (v.) $3,500.00 for properties that are vacant for at least five years but less than ten years; and (vi.) $5,000.00 for properties that are vacant for at least ten years, plus an additional $500.00 for each year in excess of ten years. ___________________________________ Explanation: [Brackets] indicate matter deleted.
