..Title Amending Title 21 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Miscellaneous," by requiring the Managing Director to implement an electronic option for processing all City-related interactions or transactions, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title 21 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: TITLE 21. MISCELLANEOUS. * * * CHAPTER 21-2100. ELECTRONIC OPTION REQUIREMENT. § 21-2101. Implementation of Electronic Option Requirement. (1) The Managing Director shall ensure that, whenever feasible, an electronic option (such as the City's website, an electronic kiosk, or similar means) is available to enable every citizen and City employee to conduct any interaction or transaction without paper, including, but not limited to, the completion of all City forms, license and permit applications, service requests, and payment of bills, taxes, fees and fines. ______________________ Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added. ..End 3
