..Title Authorizing the Streets Commissioner, on behalf of the City, to enter into an agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the grant to the City of a right-of-way for sewer and drainage purposes extending through a portion of property located at the northwest corner of Thirteenth Street and Arch Street and authorizing the plotting upon City Plan No. 307 of the said right-of-way. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Streets Commissioner, on behalf of the City, is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of General Services for the grant by the Commonwealth to the City of a right-of-way for sewer and drainage purposes extending through a portion of property located at the northwest corner of Thirteenth Street and Arch Street, the said right-of-way being more particularly described as follows: ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground, situate in the Fifth Ward of the City of Philadelphia, and described as follows: BEGINNING AT A POINT, said point being the point of intersection of the westerly side of Thirteenth Street (fifty feet wide) and the northerly side of Arch Street (seventy-two feet wide, legally open sixty-nine feet wide); thence extending South eleven degrees twenty-one minutes West, along the said westerly side of Thirteenth Street, the distance of three feet to a point; thence extending North seventy-eight degrees fifty-eight minutes West, along a line parallel with and three feet south of the said northerly side of Arch Street, the distance of forty-nine and two-hundred thirteen one-thousandths feet to a point; thence extending North sixty degrees nine minutes eight seconds East, crossing the said northerly side of Arch Street, the distance of thirty-seven and eighty-four one-thousandths feet to a point; thence extending South seventy-seven degrees forty-seven minutes twelve seconds East, the distance of eleven and one-hundred seven one-thousandths feet to a point; thence extending North fourteen degrees thirty minutes eleven seconds East, the distance of five and six-hundred five one-thousandths feet to a point; thence extending North fifty-five degrees forty-one minutes fifty-seven seconds East, the distance of fourteen and one-hundred fifty-five one-thousandths feet to a point on the said westerly side of Thirteenth Street; thence extending South eleven degrees twenty-one minutes West, along the said westerly side of Thirteenth Street, the distance of thirty-six and seven-hundred four one-thousandths feet to the FIRST MENTIONED POINT AND PLACE OF BEGINNING. CONTAINING IN AREA nine-hundred fifty-eight Square Feet (including one-hundred forty-two square feet within the unopened portion of the bed of Arch Street). BEING an irregularly-shaped right-of-way for sewer and drainage purposes adjacent to the westerly side of said Thirteenth Street and the northerly side of said Arch Street. SECTION 2. The City Solicitor shall include in the said agreement such terms and conditions as may be deemed necessary to protect the interests of the City. SECTION 3. The Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is hereby authorized to approve a plan to plot upon a portion of City Plan No. 307 the said right-of-way being established under authority of Section 1 herein. ..End
