..Title Approving the appointment of Leslie Callahan as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority. ..Body WHEREAS, Mayor Michael A. Nutter has appointed Leslie Callahan to be a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority pursuant to Section 5 of the Housing Authorities Law, Act of May 28, 1937, P.L. 955, No. 265, as amended by the Act of July 5, 2012, P.L. 1093, No. 130 (53 P.S. § 1545); and WHEREAS, Section 5 of the Housing Authorities Law requires the approval of a majority of the members of the Council for the appointment of members to the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Council hereby approves the appointment of Leslie Callahan as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority. ..End
