..Title Amending Title 10 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Regulation of Individual Conduct and Activity," by allowing the granting of permanent licenses for guide dogs for the blind, handicapped persons, or government-owned dogs used for law enforcement; all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title 10 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: TITLE 10. REGULATION OF INDIVIDUAL CONDUCT AND ACTIVITY. * * * CHAPTER 10-100. ANIMALS. * * * § 10-103. Licensing and Rabies Vaccination. * * * (3) Senior Citizen, Guide Dog and Government Discounts. Any person over sixty-five (65) years of age who licenses any dog shall receive a discount in the licensing fee of fifty (50%) percent. All licensing fees for guide dogs for the blind, or guide dogs for any other handicapped person or for government-owned dogs used for law enforcement shall be waived. Permanent licenses shall be granted for guide dogs for the blind, guide dogs for any other handicapped person or for government-owned dogs used for law enforcement. All other licensing provisions shall apply. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately. ___________________________________ Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added. ..End
