..Title Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 307 by striking from the City Plan and vacating certain sub-surface portions of Fifteenth Street between Arch Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Sixteenth Street between Arch Street and Cuthbert Street, and Arch Street from Sixteenth Street to a point east of Fifteenth Street. ..Body WHEREAS, The City intends to convey title to a certain parcel, with improvements, commonly known as the Love Park Parking Garage and located generally beneath John F. Kennedy Plaza (also known as Love Park) at Fifteenth and Arch Streets; and WHEREAS, Portions of the structure of the said underground garage extend underneath the beds of Fifteenth Street, Sixteenth Street, and Arch Street; and WHEREAS, It is desirable to revise the City Plan by striking and vacating the sub-surface portions of the said streets occupied by the said garage; now, therefore THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 11-403 of The Philadelphia Code, the Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is hereby authorized to revise the lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 307 by: (a) Striking from the City Plan and vacating a certain sub-surface portion of Fifteenth Street, between Arch Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, the said portion being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. (b) Striking from the City Plan and vacating a certain sub-surface portion of Sixteenth Street, between Arch Street and Cuthbert Street, the said portion being more particularly described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto. (c) Striking from the City Plan and vacating a certain sub-surface portion of Arch Street, from Sixteenth Street to a point approximately sixty-three feet east of Fifteenth Street, the said portion being more particularly described in Exhibit "C" attached hereto. SECTION 2. Exhibits "A," "B," and "C" to this Ordinance shall be kept on file by the Chief Clerk and shall be available for public inspection. ..End
