..Title Amending Title 6 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Health Code," by amending Section 6-503, entitled "Licenses and Permits," to provide for additional requirements relating to food establishments, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title 6 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows: TITLE 6. HEALTH CODE. * * * CHAPTER 6-500. ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS. * * * § 6-503. Licenses and Permits. (1) Issuance and Conditions. * * * (d) The Department of Licenses and Inspections shall not issue a food establishment license if: (.1) there are any outstanding, uncorrected violations at the premises of this Health Code, the Zoning Code, or any safety-related provision of The Philadelphia Code; or (.2) the Department certifies that, as a result of multiple violations of this Health Code, the Zoning Code, or any safety-related provisions of The Philadelphia Code at the premises during the immediately preceding twelve months, issuance of the license to the applicant presents a significant risk to the health, safety or welfare of the public. The Department may base such certification on violations for which the applicant or any related party was responsible; or (.3) a food establishment license was denied pursuant to subsection (.2), above, to either the applicant or a related party within the immediately preceding twelve months.
