..Title Confirming the re-appointment of Hon. Phyllis W. Beck as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2022. ..Body WHEREAS, Mayor Michael A. Nutter appointed and Council confirmed the Honorable Phyllis W. Beck as a member of the Philadelphia Board of Ethics, to serve in the remaining portion of a term that ended November 16, 2012; and WHEREAS, Mayor Michael A. Nutter appointed and Council confirmed Judge Beck as a member of the Board to serve in a term that ended November 16, 2017; and WHEREAS, Mayor James F. Kenney has nominated Judge Beck for re-appointment as a member of the Board of Ethics to serve in the term that ends November 16, 2022; and WHEREAS, Section 3-806 of the Charter requires the advice and consent of a majority of all members of the Council for the appointment of members of the Board of Ethics; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Council hereby consents to and confirms the appointment of Judge Phyllis W. Beck as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2022.
