..Title Amending Section 9 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 150377) approved June 18, 2015, as amended by Bill No. 160566, approved June 16, 2016 and Bill No. 170566, approved July 11, 2017, entitled "An Ordinance authorizing the construction, ownership, and maintenance of various encroachments into the right-of-way of Market Street, Filbert Street, 11th Street, 10th Street, 9th Street and 8th Street, and authorizing the assignment of certain rights with respect to an overhead pedestrian bridge above Filbert Street west of the house line of Ninth Street to be assigned, all under certain terms and conditions, by further authorizing the Streets Department to approve encroachments consistent with plans approved by the Philadelphia City Planning Commission and the City of Philadelphia Art Commission," by extending the time for compliance with the authorization conditions therein. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 9 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 150377) approved June 18, 2015, as amended by Bill No. 160566, approved June 16, 2016, is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 9. The Streets Department is further authorized to allow for minor modifications consistent with the intent of this Ordinance without requiring additional legislation. The Streets Department is further authorized to approve encroachments by the Gallery Operator into the right-of-way consistent with those plans approved by the City of Philadelphia City Planning Commission or the City of Philadelphia Art Commission without requiring additional legislation; provided that, notwithstanding Section 4 hereof, the City and the Gallery Operator have entered into an Agreement and satisfied all requirements listed in Section 3 of this Ordinance by June 18, [2018] 2022. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), toward costs thereof, is paid into the City treasury within sixty (60) days after the date this Ordinance becomes law. ___________________________________ Explanation: [Brackets] indicate matter deleted.
