Section 22-310 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows: § 22-310. Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP). * * * (4) Eligibility. * * * (b) Eligibility of new employees. No employee first hired or appointed on or after the date set forth below shall be eligible to participate in the DROP. This provision shall be applicable as follows: (.1) With respect to employees not represented by a union, on or after January 1, 2019. (.2) With respect to employees represented by a union, on or after certification by the City Solicitor to the Chief Clerk and the executive director of the Board that such union has accepted the non-eligibility of new employees or that applicable State law allows the imposition of this provision without union acceptance. ___________________________________ Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added. ..End
