..Title Authorizing the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority to dispose of certain properties located in the Fifth Councilmanic District, which will be transferred by the City to the Authority, by conveyance of such properties to the Philadelphia Land Bank in accordance with the terms of Chapter 16-700 of The Philadelphia Code. ..Body WHEREAS, Section 16-705 of The Philadelphia Code authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to convey real property to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority ("PRA"), without consideration, for subsequent transfer to the Philadelphia Land Bank; and WHEREAS, Section 16-705 provides that disposition of such property by the PRA to the Land Bank is subject to approval by Council by Resolution; and WHEREAS, The properties listed below are surplus property and their transfer to the Philadelphia Land Bank will promote the public purposes for which the City created the Land Bank; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, AS FOLLOWS SECTION 1. The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, upon accepting from the City title to any or all of the properties listed on the attached Exhibit "A," is hereby authorized to transfer title to such properties to the Philadelphia Land Bank pursuant to Chapter 16-700 of The Philadelphia Code.
