..Title Honoring and celebrating Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback, Nick Foles, for his accomplishments on the field, his historic place in Eagles' history and his contributions to Philadelphia. ..Body WHEREAS, Nick Foles, is the Super Bowl winning Quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles who led the team to victory against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII on February 4, 2017 with a game ending score of 41-33. WHEREAS, Nick Foles demonstrated admirable leadership and perseverance when he stepped into the Quarterback position during the Eagles' playoff run and ultimately led the team to Super Bowl LII. WHEREAS, Nick Foles threw the game-winning touchdown pass at the end of Super Bowl LII securing an Eagles victory and his place in Eagles history. WHEREAS, Nick Foles was also on the receiving end of a touchdown pass from Trey Burton that will be forever known as the Philly Special. WHEREAS, Thanks to his cool head under pressure, sportsmanship, and bold choices, Nick Foles became Super Bowl LII's Most Valuable Player and the only Philadelphia Eagle to ever win this award.
