..Title Amending Title 11 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Streets," to prohibit the construction of bay windows and balconies in and around the Point Breeze and Grays Ferry areas of the City, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Title 11 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended as follows: TITLE 11. STREETS. * * * �11-603. Projections Over the Street. * * * (4) Balconies and Bay Windows. * * * (e) No balconies or bay windows may be erected within the area bounded as follows: Washington Avenue, 15th Street, Snyder Avenue, Point Breeze Avenue, 28th Street, Vare Avenue, New Hope Street, 29th Street, Tasker Street, 31st Street, Fernon Drive, 32nd Street, Tasker Street, 34th Street, and Grays Ferry Avenue. [(e)] (f) Except for Subsection (e), [The] the provisions of this Section do not apply to balconies or bay windows which do not project beyond the streetline; provided, however, no balcony or bay window shall project more than 4 feet from the wall line of the building of which it is a part.
