..Title Authorizing the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority to dispose of certain property located in the Second Councilmanic District, which will be transferred by the City to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, by conveyance of such property to the Philadelphia Land Bank in accordance with the terms of Chapter 16-700 of The Philadelphia Code. ..Body WHEREAS, Section 16-705 of The Philadelphia Code authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to convey real property to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority ("PRA"), without consideration, for subsequent transfer to the Philadelphia Land Bank; and WHEREAS, Section 16-705 provides that disposition of such property by the PRA to the Land Bank is subject to approval by City Council by Resolution; and WHEREAS, The transfer of 2648 Sears Street to the Philadelphia Land Bank will promote the public purposes for which the City created the Land Bank; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA SECTION 1. The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, upon accepting from the City title to 2648 Sears Street is hereby authorized to transfer title to such property to the Philadelphia Land Bank pursuant to Chapter 16-700 of The Philadelphia Code. ..End
