..Title Confirming the reappointment of Dr. Chris McGinley to the Board of Education. ..Body WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 12-201 of the Public Education Supplement of The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter, the Mayor, with the advice and consent of a majority of all the members of the Council, shall appoint members of the Board of Education from names submitted to him by the Educational Nominating Panel; and WHEREAS, Mayor James F. Kenney has sought Council's confirmation of the reappointment of Dr. Chris McGinley to the Board; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That the reappointment of Dr. Chris McGinley to the Board of Education, to serve in the term commencing May 1, 2020, and ending April 30, 2024, is hereby confirmed. ..End
