..Title Authorizing the Department of Public Property to acquire, on behalf of the City, an easement in the area bounded by Chestnut Street, 12th Street, Market Street, and 11th Street, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Department of Public Property is hereby authorized to acquire on behalf of the City: an easement approximately 35 feet wide for pedestrian and vehicular use, which will connect 11th Street and 12th Street in the approximate vicinity of the former Clover Street; and an easement area approximately 41.5 feet wide for pedestrian use, which will connect Chestnut Street to other easement. SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and to approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City of Philadelphia and carry out the purposes for this Ordinance. ..End
