..Title Approving the appointment of Ismail Shahid as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority. ..Body WHEREAS, Mayor James F. Kenney has appointed Ismail Shahid to be a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority pursuant to Section 5 of the Housing Authorities Law, Act of May 28, 1937, P.L. 955, No. 265, as amended by the Act of July 5, 2012, P.L. 1093, No. 130 (35 P.S. � 1545); and WHEREAS, Section 5 of the Housing Authorities Law requires the approval of a majority of the members of the Council for the appointment of members to the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Council hereby approves the appointment of Ismail Shahid as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Philadelphia Housing Authority. ..End
