..Title Establishing parking restrictions for certain commercial vehicles in the vicinity of Blue Grass road and Grant avenue, Decatur street and Torresdale avenue, Cottman avenue and Milnor street, Barnard Avenue and St. Vincent street, Battersby street and St. Vincent street, St. Vincent street and Roosevelt boulevard, Wellington street and Battersby street, Brighton street and Brous avenue, Princeton avenue and Brous avenue, Friendship street and Hawthorne street, Tulip street and Decatur street, Ashton road and Grant avenue, and Holme avenue and Roosevelt boulevard; all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. No person shall park any vehicle used, constructed or equipped for the transportation of goods, wares, merchandise, tools or equipment in trade, commerce, repair, or service work, with a capacity in excess of one-half ton, on any of the following streets, at any time, except for the purpose of loading or unloading vehicles in the usual course of business with the occupiers of the residential property, or while carrying passengers for hire: (a) Blue Grass road, both sides, from Grant avenue to Welsh road. (b) Decatur street, both sides, from Torresdale avenue street to Tulip street. (c) Cottman avenue, both sides, from Milnor street to the terminus of Cottman avenue next to the Delaware River. (d) Barnard Avenue, both sides, from St. Vincent street to Cottman avenue. (e) Battersby street, both sides, from St. Vincent street to Cottman avenue. (f) St. Vincent street, both sides, from Roosevelt boulevard to Frankford avenue. (g) Wellington street, both sides, from Battersby street to Frankford avenue. (h) Brighton street, both sides, from Brous avenue to Frankford avenue. (i) Princeton avenue, both sides, from Brous avenue to Frankford avenue. (j) Friendship street, both sides, from Hawthorne street to Frankford avenue. (k) Tulip street, both sides, from Decatur street to Rhawn street. (l) Ashton road, both sides, from Grant avenue to Holme avenue. (m) Holme avenue, both sides, from Roosevelt boulevard to Linden avenue. SECTION 2. Section 1 shall not apply to any vehicle which is loaded with debris, waste or recyclable materials. SECTION 3. Vehicles in violation of Section 1 shall be removed or towed by the Police Department. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately. ..End
