..Title Confirming the reappointment of Brian J. McCormick as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2026. ..Body WHEREAS, Starting in December 2012, Brian J. McCormick served a partial term on the Philadelphia Board of Ethics, which term ended November 16, 2016; and WHEREAS, By operation of law, Brian J. McCormick's term was extended until November 16, 2017, the first year of a full five-year term on the Board; and WHEREAS, Brian J. McCormick was nominated to serve, and has served, in the remainder of that five-year term, which expires on November 16, 2021; and WHEREAS, Mayor James F. Kenney has nominated Brian J. McCormick for reappointment to serve a second full five-year term as a member of the Board; and WHEREAS, Section 3-806 of the Charter requires the advice and consent of a majority of all members of the Council for the appointment of members of the Board of Ethics; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Council hereby consents to and confirms the reappointment of Brian J. McCormick as a member of the Board of Ethics, to serve in the term ending November 16, 2026. ..End
