..Title Amending Section 5 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 200092) approved March 11, 2020, entitled "An Ordinance authorizing Independence Park Hotel ('Owner') to construct, own, and maintain a proposed exterior building ramp at 235 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 ('Property'), all under certain terms and conditions," by extending the period for compliance with the terms and conditions stated therein. ..Body WHEREAS, an Ordinance (Bill No. 200092) approved March 11, 2020 was conditional upon certain requirements being complied with within one (1) year from the date of approval; and WHEREAS, it is desirable to extend the timeframe in which such requirements may be met; now, therefore, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 5 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 200092) approved March 11, 2020 is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 5. The permission granted to Owner to construct the Encroachment described in Section 1 shall expire without any further action by the City of Philadelphia if Owner has not entered into an Agreement and satisfied all requirements of the Agreement that are listed in Section 3 of this Ordinance [within one (1) year after this Ordinance becomes law.] by March 11, 2022. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two-hundred dollars ($200.00), toward costs thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within one-hundred twenty (120) days after this Ordinance becomes law. ..End
