..Title Amending Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Designation of Bicycle Lanes," to authorize a bicycle lane on Woodland Avenue from The Woodlands driveway to the VA Medical Center Driveway; and making associated changes to parking regulations within the same limits; all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows: � 12-701. Designation of Bicycle Lanes. * * * (2) The Department is authorized to designate a bicycle lane upon the following streets and regulate the operation and use of vehicles and bicycles upon such streets in a manner consistent with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) regulations: * * * (*) Woodland Avenue, from The Woodlands driveway to VA Medical Center Driveway: One bicycle lane in each direction, and the removal of a parking lane on the south side of the street within the same limits. SECTION 2. All existing street specific parking regulations on the following street is hereby terminated: Woodland Avenue, south side, from The Woodlands driveway to VA Medical Center Driveway. SECTION 3. The following parking regulations are hereby established: Woodland Avenue, south side, from The Woodlands driveway to VA Medical Center Driveway. NO STOPPING ANYTIME SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect as follows: (a) Section 1: Immediately. (b) Section 2: Upon replacement of parking signage consistent with this Ordinance. (c) Section 3: Upon replacement of parking signage consistent with this Ordinance. ..End
