..Title Amending Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Designation of Bicycle Lanes," to authorize bicycle lanes on Lindbergh boulevard between 58th street and 65th street; and making associated changes to lanes of travel within the same limits; all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows: � 12-701. Designation of Bicycle Lanes. * * * (1) A bicycle lane that requires the removal of a travel lane may be designated upon a street only when authorized by subsection (2) of this Section. (2) The Department is authorized to designate a bicycle lane upon the following streets and regulate the operation and use of vehicles and bicycles upon such streets in a manner consistent with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) regulations: * * * (*) Lindbergh boulevard, from 58th street to 65th street: One bicycle lane in each direction and the removal of a travel lane in each direction. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately. ..End
