..Title Amending Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Designation of Bicycle Lanes," to authorize a bicycle lane on Grays Ferry avenue from 34th street to Washington avenue, and making associated changes to parking regulations within the same limits, all under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows: � 12-701. Designation of Bicycle Lanes. * * * (2) The Department is authorized to designate a bicycle lane upon the following streets and regulate the operation and use of vehicles and bicycles upon such streets in a manner consistent with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) regulations: * * * (*) Grays Ferry Avenue, from 34th street to Washington avenue: One bicycle lane in each direction, and the removal of a parking lane on the south side of the street within the same limits. SECTION 2. All existing street specific parking regulations on the following street is hereby terminated: Grays Ferry avenue, south side, from 34th Street to Washington avenue. SECTION 3. The following parking regulations are hereby established: Grays Ferry avenue, south side, from 34th Street to Washington avenue. NO STOPPING ANYTIME SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect as follows: (a) Section 1: Immediately. (b) Section 2: Upon replacement of parking signage consistent with this Ordinance. (c) Section 3: Upon replacement of parking signage consistent with this Ordinance. ..End 2
