..Title Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 167 by relocating the curblines and a portion of the southerly houseline of Arch Street, between Sixty-Third Street and Gross Street, in order to conform more closely with existing conditions, and by striking from the City Plan Arch Street from Gross Street to Sixty-Fourth Street and authorizing the opening of the area being added to the bed of Arch Street, being land owned by the City. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 11-405 of The Philadelphia Code, the Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is hereby authorized to revise the lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 167 by: a) Relocating a portion of the southerly houseline of Arch Street, between Sixty-Third Street and Gross Street, southwardly a variable distance not exceeding nineteen feet, thereby placing on City Plan an addition to the bed of said Arch Street, in order to conform more closely with existing conditions. b) Relocating the curblines of Arch Street, from Sixty-Third Street to Gross Street, thereby reducing the width of the cartway of said Arch Street from thirty-four feet to twenty-six feet, and relocating a portion of the said cartway southwardly a variable distance not exceeding twenty-six feet in order to conform more closely with existing conditions. c) Striking from the City Plan Arch Street from Gross Street to Sixty-Fourth Street. SECTION 2. Effective upon confirmation of the City Plan changes authorized herein, the Board of Surveyors is hereby authorized to adopt a resolution declaring the said addition to the bed of Arch Street, being land owned by the City of Philadelphia, to be legally open. ..End
