..Title Amending an Ordinance (Bill No. 877), approved September 16, 1994, by amending an exhibit thereto, in order to increase the limit of the amount of funding any entity may receive in any fiscal year from the Philadelphia Activities Fund. ..Body WHEREAS, The City of Philadelphia (the "City") authorized in an Ordinance approved on September 16, 1994 (Bill No. 877) the organization of a nonprofit corporation to be known as The Philadelphia Recreation Fund, now known as the Philadelphia Activities Fund, for the purpose of "administering a Recreation Assistance Program as set forth in Exhibit 'A' and the guidelines promulgated thereunder"; and WHEREAS, Said Exhibit "A" limited the amount that any entity was eligible to receive from the Fund in any fiscal year to $5,000; and WHEREAS, Council increased that maximum to $6,500 by enacting an Ordinance (Bill No. 030300), approved July 21, 2003, amending Exhibit "A" of Bill No. 877; and WHEREAS, Council increased that maximum to $7,500 by enacting an Ordinance (Bill No. 140180), approved May 15, 2014, amending Exhibit "A" of Bill No. 877; and WHEREAS, Council now desires to increase that maximum limit to $9,000; now therefore, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 1 of the Ordinance approved September 16, 1994 (Bill No. 877) and amended by an Ordinance (Bill No. 140180), approved May 15, 2014, is hereby further amended by amending Exhibit "A" attached thereto, as follows: Recreation Assistance Program 1. Purpose of the Program: * * * 2. Eligible Activities, Costs, and Funding Limits: * * * (d) Funding Limitations: Funding decisions shall be based on need and shall be provided for specific activities or purchases. Fund applicants shall be required to submit a written budget. No entity may receive more than [$7,500] $9,000 from the Recreation Fund in any fiscal year. * * * SECTION 2.
