..Title Authorizing the vacating of Beaumont Street from Fifty-First Street to its terminus southwestwardly therefrom. ..Body WHEREAS, Beaumont Street (formerly known as Ameaseka Street), from Fifty-First Street to a terminus southwestwardly therefrom, was opened for public use by a dedication made on May 26, 1859, but was not plotted on the City Plan; and WHEREAS, the said Beaumont Street was not paved or otherwise improved and is not in use by public traffic; and WHEREAS, it is desirous for the City to vacate any rights in the bed of said Beaumont Street and allow it to revert to private property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is hereby authorized to adopt a resolution and approve a plan vacating Beaumont Street from Fifty-First Street to its terminus southwestwardly therefrom at the northeasterly line of the West Chester and Philadelphia Railroad, within the area designated as City Plan No. 184. ..End
